Why use a destoner?

• The threshed grain will normally contain a mix of some stones, sand, small pebbles, plant and insect waste, seed cases, etc. These impurities lower the quality of the crops and it may also cause a focal point for potential infestation during storage.
• Conventionally, the simplest cleaning method is called winnowing. This is usually done by tossing the grain into the air and letting the wind take off the lightest impurities. Although winnowing is widespread in farming, this cleaning method can’t eliminate heavier impurities such as stone, gravel, etc. Also, the method is labour-intensive.
• But using the machine, small and large impurities can be separated from your grain more effectively, allowing you to have a hitch-free operation on your farm. Therefore, the farmer will make more profit and produce higher-quality grains.

Work principle of rice destoner:

When the machine works, the user feeds rice into the rice feeding hopper. The rice then enters the middle of the stone screen continuously.

• The grain and stones are separated by vibrating motion. The large stones on the surface of the stone screen, under the action of the inertial force and airflow of the vibration system, will be discharged into the big stone outlet.
• The smaller stones are then passed into a second screen and then discharged by a smaller stone outlet.
• Thereafter, the blower will blow off small and light impurity into an impurity outlet, then you have cleaner rice fall down the vibration outlet into the clean rice outlet.
